EXPERIENCE

  • Oversaw the implementation of opening addiction agency with Dr. Cooper of Cooper Chiropractic. Implemented and completed documentation for licensure of new agency through DCF, while preparing client documentation, policy and procedures, became certified as MRT trainer for drug court client substance abuse treatment.
  • Provide treatment, counseling to adult drug court substance abuse clients. Served as an advocate and liaison on behalf of adult clients with community providers including parole/probation, child welfare, corrections, and dependency court as needed.
  • Provide treatment, counseling to juvenile mental health and substance abuse clients.
  • Oversaw both the juvenile and adult drug court programs, as well as, providing supervision for the drug court counselors and staff. Conducted and monitored psychosocial evaluations, intake & discharge documentation, as well as, providing supervised GAIN & GPRA evaluations for juveniles. Additionally, provided individual & group counseling for both mental health and substance abuse through juvenile drug court and adult day/night outpatient treatment. Made clinical decisions, charting, billing and guidance to staff.
  • Substance abuse counseling for families, as well as, a community advocate connecting families with community resources.
